“Humor is infectious. The sound of roaring laughter is far more contagious than any cough, sniffle, or sneeze. When laughter is shared, it binds people together and increases happiness and intimacy. Laughter also triggers healthy physical changes in the body. Humor and laughter strengthen your immune system, boost your energy, diminish pain, and protect you from the damaging effects of stress. Best of all, this priceless medicine is fun, free, and easy to use.”

At the Thrasher-Horne, we want to make sure your life includes many moments to laugh. Last season we brought you comedian Bill Engvall, who filled our sold out house with peals of laughter and side-splitting humor. And beginning next month, our 2016-2017 season is packed with hilarity from the likes of Wayne Brady, Billy Gardell, Jay Leno, and, most recently announced, Tracy Morgan. As the seasons change and we bid farewell to summer, we’ve got you covered with plenty of laughs to chase away the winter blues.

“Bill Engvall’s no frills but gives a hysterically funny show! Missed some things he said because I was laughing so hard.” – Lynn McCarthy

Laughter is a powerful antidote to stress, pain, and conflict. Nothing works faster or more dependably to bring your mind and body back into balance than a good laugh. Humor lightens your burdens, inspires hopes, connects you to others, and keeps you grounded, focused, and alert.
